I don't think congress should get along.  It was designed to be combative as anything it does (other than repealing laws) is a constraint against our freedoms.  The founders knew this and so they designed it to be difficult to pass laws.  This has been changed and no longer can you manage the virtual one man filibuster and they even have it now that you can do a simple majority vote on many issues -- something that was never intended.  Think about it people are you so hopeless and incapable that you need others telling you what to do and how to do it?   I know I sure don't.

Remember if you start following the ways of a democracy you will eventually most likely become an oligarchy and understand this is why we don't have a democracy but instead a republic.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Obama wil win if the Republicans cannot put up a serious candidate. it seems all they do is fight during the debates. This isn't giving my much confidence for a change in Washington for 2012. But another four years of Obama and we will all be eating at soup kitchens, :sad1:

No.  Even with the help of the media covering for him, people know what a disaster this man has been.

Yes; he's the only alternative to the Tea Party nightmare. I hope that next time around, he stops being so nice to those bastards. They can't be reasoned with.

Language, please... I disagree with Democrats, but I don't go around calling them names. Yes, I'm a member of the TEA party.

I don't think he will be running this time.  I think he's feeling a bit overwhelmed with the way things have gone during his term.  Just my 2 cents.

No, I do not!!  Obama has tons of charisma, seems to be intelligent but is sorely lacking in experience...  He has been all over the board on almost every issue that is on the table.  He has made implied promises by not thoroughly explaining what the real implications would be.  The presidency is not a nine to five job and is no place for on the job training.

HE DID IT HIS WAY!!!! ???

He will probably be re-elected but for reasons that do not rely on strengths.  The weakness of the Republican candidates as well as the favorable lack of media exposure over the weaknesses of his administration will lead to 4 more years.  Just my opinion.  Whoever wins, just hope it helps puts the country back on the correct path.

While he might be feeling 'overwhelmed', his over-the-top egotistical view of his own worth will force him to run again. Every time I have bothered to listen to him, which is very rare, I have come away feeling he looks at his constituents [us] as far beneath him. He has that Cheshire Cat smirk always present and that makes me very uneasy. I don't trust politicians, but I still somewhat trust the process. Obama has his focus on far too many things that do NOT concern him and they are NOT in the best interest of the country or it's people.

The sad thing about it is the utter lack of knowledge in the voting booth. I research, I seek out information, and I know people that are involved with the government. I don't vote without knowing what candidates stand for, how many important policies they have been a part of, and also their own voting history. If you choose to do nothing but vote, [if you even vote] but have NO clue when you are casting that vote, then you get what you get, period. That would be just fine if it only affected your life. You/we are all free to vote for whomever it may be, but if you want this clown back in office, please remember how the tent fell down during his current job as the ringleader of the circus.  >:(

i think whether he will run again or not i believe everthing happen for a reason. the most important thing is that for the first time in many years people around this country put there differences aside to elect a black man to be the president of the united state. how amazing is that....

I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"
