Don't classify a whole gender like that, Just b/c you're mad at a few of the douchebags. What if they say "For women it's never love, but money"?? That is also incorrect. Also many of the women are just looking for a hookup too, so it's hard  for guys to know who wants what. Give them a break.

You suffer from being attracted to douchebags. I dunno where you're meeting them, but I see this with a lot of women. Granted men are lustful from the get-go, the 'professionals' have standards. Hunt for those ones.

Thank goodness you respect yourself. Those guys just make it easy to weed out the a$$holes and find the real gentlemen. Don't worry, there are plenty of good guys out there, you just have to find the right one It's a matter of how you project yourself. As a member of the male species, I'd like to apologize to you for all of the "humping dogs" in the world. However, we men are only human and sometimes get our signals all confused with many women. Some are just looking to hookup with someone while others are looking for true love. It really all depends where you're meeting these guys which will determine the outcome. Don't let a few bad apples completely turn you away from finding true love.

Douchebags exist in both sexes, among those who are not ready to settle or who have no desire to contain their hormones.  I was a douchebag before I met my husband, and even in those early days.  You can't judge a library based on a book or two on the shelves, and some books, though offensive on the outside, may be a great read.
