Its never OK to hit a woman...Men who do that are punks

I would grab a baseball bat if I ever catch a man hitting a woman and I would break every bone in his hands and arms. Then, he won't be able to hit another woman for a while.

I agree no one should be in a relationship if the only way they communicate is through violance.  When thier is children involved than they don't need to see or hear it.  People should seperate if they can't get along without hitting each other.  If their is love and repect in a relationship this should never happen.  I know in relationships their is always going to be disagreements but there is other ways to work it out.  Raised my son never to hit a women but I also told him she should never hit you either, if the relationship can't work get out especially before kids come into the family.  I have seen people who are abused by a spouse or relationship partner and it never works out unless they both decide to make changes.  My grandmother always said she would not go to bed mad, that her and grandpa would work it out.  I believe that communication with words and not physical is always the be route to go.

Guys who think they can hit their wives or girlfriends are wimps.  I was in a bad relationship for years and would get beaten by my husband for every mistake I made.  Not just that I would get beaten if the kids would get hurt because it was my fault that I wasnt watching them.  And then a miracle happened.  He fell in love with another woman and left the house.  I took advantage of the situation and changed locks and never let him back in again. I didnt have the courage to walk out on him but now I would never let anyone like him come near me.  I help other women who are in the same situation.

i  dont agree with abusive men hitting women.. i feel theyre a less than human.

Exactly. I even saw on some show "What Would You Do" where they shown the guy being rough (Not even hitting) the girl and everyone and their mother came over to yell at him and call the police but when the girl was beating on the guy, nobody did anything and one girl even made a "you go girl" gesture. When asked, people said they assumed the guy did something wrong and deserved it which is a complete BS excuse anyway.

I agree that if you are with someone, neither one of you should be putting your hands on the other. I have known/know abused women and men. I HAD a husband that only became abusive when he drank. NOTICE the "HAD" in my last sentence. I left we got divorced. Since then I made it clear to every man I had a relationship with that if he EVER laid a hand on me, that to remember he has to sleep some time. I have had no problems since. My present husband is a sweetheart, but we both spend weekends at the range and he sees how good my aim is so I think that helps

I don't think its right for a woman to get hit, or the children. But I would never pick a woman over a man because there is help for men who have aggressive behavor.

Never stay with a man who hits, slaps, or verbally abuses you. They'll never stop it no matter what they say or beg! It is abusive for children to witness this behavior in the household.

I don't think it is ok for anyone to be abusive to another human being. I raised my son not to hit women and my girls not to take abuse from any man but I think that could also be turned around. My best friend's son was in an abusive relationship where she would be abusive  to him and I am not talking about her hitting him but emotionally and spiritually.

Many things can be considered precious gifts to men.

Also, a man should not stay with a woman who will hit, slap, or verbally abuse her partner.
To have children with an abusive partner, or to bring an abusive partner into the lives of children from another relationship shouldn't be happening.
