I have a deck because I was into horoscopes and Tarot cards and things during my early teen years. :) It's a beautiful deck though, medieval depictions, and I plan on keeping it. I don't believe it will actually tell me where my life is going but it's kind of fun to try it out every once in awhile and see what it says.

Tarot Card readings are like Nostradamus's predictions: they're too generalized.

I agree, same with Palm readers. My neighbor swears by this one she saw at her aunts house but hey to eachs own right?

I have Tarot cards and they are accurate, most of the time.  The most amazing time for me was I woke up one morning in my 9th month of pregnancy.  The cards said I would have the baby that day.  I was bed ridden due to the pregnancy.  I got up and packed my bag and that afternoon I was in the hospital and had my beautiful little boy.

Have you ever had a tarot card reading? Did the reader reveal truth or untruth to you about your present path in life  or future life path ?Open forum send comments in...
I have had readings back in the days but I thought they were a waist of time so I'd rather not know what the future holds sometimes i'ts better off not knowing what to expect.

My dad made a deck from regular playing cards.  I have three decks and two sets of runes.  I do readings on Fiverr.  They're a good tool to tune in to the universal knowledge.  Not everyone is in tune with everyone else, but if you're lucky you'll find a reader who's compatible with you.  It can be entertaining or insightful.  My hope is that my readings give the client something to think about that leads them to further insight.   :peace:

No, I have never had a Tarot Reading and don't plan on doing so. I believe everyone makes their own destiny and I don't understand how some people who want to know their future.....wouldn't that be annoying and build up your anxiety? I already have too much anxiety and stress.....lol  :P

it all sounds fake to me

The 'predictions' made in the xtian bible(s) not only sound fake but, are just as generalized as a tarot reading.

... on the other side of that, the people who think it's all demonic and satanic are just comical and facepalm-inducing when they discuss it.

I've never had a tarot card reading and never will. Tarot cards are assocuated with witchcraft is expressly forbidden by the bible.

Being a Christian myself, I really hate posts like HealthFreedom's because now you gave all of the non-Christians ammo in calling us crazy. Thanks. Just post a reply without bible thumping. Come on.

Techincally, HF's knee-jerk response wasn't exactly thumping, (e.g., using direct biblical quotes), but did vaguely reference "witchcraft" using the bible as a source.  Such translations of the first languages used in jumble that collection together render the word as "poisoner", (which doesn't take much supernatural skill - anyone can do it), "sorceress", "doer of evil magic" and so forth.  This is amusing considering that such xtian 'magic' as water into wine, healing by touch and parting the Red Sea, etc. are somehow NOT 'witchcraft/magic' but are deemed as "holy miracles".  Such double standards reflect shallow a mind in the mirror of reason.

“Giving up witchcraft is, in effect, giving up the Bible.”
-John Wesley (English Evangelist, founder of Methodism. 1703-1791)

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Yes i have actually had a tarot reading and it was crazy acurate in fact as soon as i walked out of the building exactly what she said was going to happen happened. So i believe in it for most parts but i do feel that some people are fakes and do it just to get money. This woman that done mine was amazing so to me it was pretty cool.

I believe in psuchics and all that stuff but I also know that there are people who will either fake it to make money or use it to their advantage I have seen stuff like this on many occasions. its the same with the cards.

I've had a tarot reading and it was very general..they could have been speaking about anyone. I do believe that there are real psychics, but many fake ones too. You can usually tell the difference right away
