What are you plans for July 4th? I will be spending the day attending an annual convention with a friend during the day and in the evening I will be hiking with a group of hikers up in the mountain to see some fireworks on top.

My family and I usually cookout during the day and at night we go to see the local fireworks!   This year my oldest son will be at church camp and my husband will be out of town helping his brother remodel his house!  So...no plans so far...

Not sure I will be working or not.  If I'm not I've been thinking of going to DC to listen to the National Orchestra play while fireworks go off.  They show it every year on PBS.  I've only been once and that was years ago.

No plans right now, in fact it is a little early to be planning anything, but I guess it ok to plan ahead if you are doing something at your house, like inviting guess or cookout.  I hope to be invited to someone house for some ribs.

My family usually has a cookout to celebrate the holiday and to celebrate my birthday and sister's birthday. My birthday is July 5th I was suppose to be born on the 4th but I was stubborn and my little sister was born on July 8th so we get together and celebrate it all at the same time. :D

Just to watch the fireworks from my front porch. I live in Utah so I get fireworks twice in July. For the 4th and pioneer day.

Hopefully, I will have the 4th off from work and if I do, I plan to just stay home with my puppy and watch a movie or something :)

4th of julys dont mean the samething to me as they did when i was growning up. We would have a family reunion/ birthday party for my grandmother (her birthday is july 4th). But ever since she passed away (on july 4th, yes she passed away on her birthday)  :crybaby2: That day just isnt the same for me anymore. There is gonna be a small family get together but Im not sure if i can financialy make it :(

I would like to just be around family and friends.  I would like to have a nice little party outside.  I would not want to travel during this holiday.  I know I would have a good time that day.
