Paying the IRS
« on: June 05, 2011, 11:01:16 am »
I have been informed that I owe $2000 to the IRS from 2008.  Anyone know if they will work with me to make payments? :sad1:

Yikes! And yes they will. My fiancee had payback issues before he and I met and I believe he was on a $100 or $150/mth plan and every year after if he got any money back it automatically went to them first and if you missed one payment they expected it all in a lump sum or would start garnishing wages, put a lien on your home etc.

You need to ask them.

They will work with you, you just have to call and talk with them about it, they would rather you pay vol. instead of garnishing your wages.
