Do you guys use garbage bags?

I don't create a lot of trash because I live alone, but my one splurge item is garbage bags.  I buy Hefty.  I love the handle ties without those little twist things because I never use those things anyway.  My mother used to buy those thin cheap garbage bags that were worthless because they always tore.  I never understood why she did that.

For the kitchen we do. Every other trash can, we just use bags from the grocery store.

Question though, for people who aren't using garbage bags in your kitchen... what are you using? Kitchen trash is so gross, I can't imagine not using one.

I rarely buy garbage vags, I mostly use the grocery bags.

I use the plastic grocery bags for all of our trash cans.

Any extra plastic bags I accumulate, I take to my job.  We
use a LOT there.

I do use garbage bags.  We live in a rural area where we have to take our trash to the waste/ recycle center so I buy the larger trash bags...35 gallon NOT usually Hefty they are too expensive...and I buy the 13 gallon also (usually the dollar tree brand)....for small wastebaskets I just use grocery store/walmart plastic bags.

I use 13 gallon garbage bags for the kitchen & i re-use grocery bags for the smaller garbage cans in the bedrooms & bathroom.

I use the grocery ones for my kitchen and waste baskets in other rooms.  I use the paper grocery ones for my newspapers, junk mail and shredded mail, recyclable cans, glass and plastic.

we buy garbage bags in wholesale shops and i use grocery bags in bathrooms

Wow...$13?!...Well, ever since I started recycling I haven't had as much garbage, therefore I use a smaller garbage can. And since I have less bulk I use cheaper garbage bags.

i  tend to use both . i use garbage bags in the kitchen and shopping bags in the smaller trashcans like in the bathroom and bedrooms. i buy what ever is the cheapest in the store.

heck yeah i would do away with garbage bags if i could. right now im using grocery bags for my recyclables so they dont go in the garbage and i can save on garbage bag like hard core.

Yes, I definitely use trash bags...the GOOD ones for the kitchen at least, as you don't want to be stuck with a flimsy bag for the contents of that haul.  Sure they're pricey I guess, but they are basically a necessity.

I shop online every month. I always find what I need. ....and I don't get tired feet or a sore back and come home empty handed.(not finding what I want/need). I get my garbage bags from Drugstore - Rite Aid. Their price is reasonable. $3 for 60 bags. Hardware stores online sometimes have a deal. I shop a general search for the best price for the things I buy. I just have paper garbage. I use the grocery store bags for food garbage and dispose of it right away to keep ants out of my apartment.

yes, i'd go crazy if i used grocery bags.  I don't like to have to take the trash out everytime i turn around.
