Below are some helpful tips and steps that I use and I have found that they REALLY help make sure I get credit for my offers.

I was using Google Chrome to complete my offers, but I have read in a few different places that it is better to use Firefox to complete offers.
So now that is what I have been using.
If you don't have a Firefox Browser, go to www.mozilla.com and download it for free.

Also, not only do you need to clear your "cookies", but you also need to clear "Cache"

Accepting and Clearing Your Cookies

Go to "Tools" then "Options" and click on the "Privacy tab"

Under "History" use drop down and select "Use Custom Settings For History"

Make sure that "Accept Cookies From Sites" and "Accept Third-Party Cookies" boxes are checked.  Don't worry about the Keep Until box because you will be deleting cookies all the time.
Then click Okay.

Then to clear cookies:

Again go to "Tools" and then to "Clear Recent History".  Make sure that "Time Range To Clear" is "Everything" and that there is a checkbox in the "Cookies" and "Cache" tabs.

A friend of mine recommended downloading and using ccleaner because it will clear your cookies more thoroughly.  But there is a one time fee of $25.  I was fortunately able to find it and download it for free under cnet Downloads.  Here is the link:

download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

Then close all your Browsers and...

… Open "Ccleaner" and go to "Applications"

Under "Firefox/Mozilla" make sure the boxes for "Cookies" and "Internet Cache" are checked.

Then click on Run Cleaner

I recommend clearing your cookies both BEFORE and AFTER every offer that you do.

Make Sure that Pop-Up Blockers Are Disabled

To do this go to "Tools" then "Options" then go to "Content Tab" and make sure checkbox for "Block Pop-up Windows" is unchecked.

Once you have completed an offer stay on that page for about 5 minutes.  Don't do anything else like check email or surf the net.  If the offer doesn't credit after 5 minutes, move on to the next offer.

A lot of people aren't aware of this last step.  In fact I just learned this recently myself.
If you have Yahoo or Google Toolbars installed on either IE or Firefox, you should disable them because they are known for causing credit problems.  To disable them temporarily all you need to do is go to “Tools” and go to “Add-ons.”  From there you can disable them.
Once you are done completing offers for the day, follow the same steps to enable them again.

One thing that I really want to stress is that you must NEVER EVER EVER clear your cookies and cache while you are still logged into FC.  You must do it BEFORE you log in.  If you clear your cookies AFTER you log in, you will erase information that you need to get your credit.  I know a lot of people who have lost their credits by getting this sequence wrong.  So PLEASE be sure to remember this.

Another thing, wait patiently for your offers to credit.  Even the offers that say they credit “Instantly” may take a few hours or up to a day.  Offers report back to the sites on a per-scheduled basis.  For example, if your offer reports back every hour at 15 minutes past the hour and you do your offer at 2:30, you won't see your offer credit until 3:15.  If your offer reports back every day at 9PM and you do it at 9:30PM, you won't see your credit for almost a full day.

I do see out in the forum that some people are having problems with getting credit for offers they have completed. These are just some steps and tips that, like I said, have been very helpful to me, and I just hope that they can be helpful to others as well.  :)

Very helpful. :)

I've found that some of the daily surveys (MyThoughtCounts and SSI Daily survey, etc.) didn't credit me until I signed out and cleared my browsing history (in Google Chrome) then the next time I qualified and completed a survey it worked.

:angel12: Excellent info. Thanks! I used to be thoroughly frustrated with offers not crediting until I started doing this.

Thanks so much for the tips. Sometimes offers just mysteriously don't credit for me. So I'm using your tips as a little checklist when that starts happening too often. Thanks again.

Very nice post, Jasmine81.... You can also get CCleaner for free directly from the product's web site (Piriform) at:

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Another freebie I recommend having if you don't already is Malwarebytes, which can be downloaded here......

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

I use both of these regularly along with my anitvirus program.

Even with all your suggestions-and I have used them in the past, if you don't qualify for them, you will receive any credit.  Even the some of the ones I quality for, I am not given credit.  So your suggestions really aren't the  answers  that work.

Jasmine81, you've provided some good tips here, but there are a couple that I don't necessarily agree with. One is about blocking pop-ups. I keep the box "checked" all the time to block pop ups and don't normally have issues with offers not crediting. The other is with clearing the cache & cookies, which I do before every offer or survey I do. I've had some offers credit a day or two later, even though I've cleared my cache & cookies while still logged on to FC. Another thing is that it really doesn't matter if you go to another window/tab to do something else while waiting on your recently completed offer to credit, as long as that window/tab is still open. I do it all the time and have no problems. Really, I think that the issue of not getting credit for some offers is just a hit & miss kind of thing. There will be some that don't credit....period. Some members get credit for certain offers, while others don't for the same offer for some weird unknown reason. Every member has different experiences with how they get credit or opinions of why they think they didn't, so if you're basing your tips on those experiences, they may not work for everyone. BUT, they certainly are worth trying!!! Hope all that made sense.  :dontknow:
