Fake! Not even the Son (Jesus) knows when the world is coming to a end, or the angels. Only God knows when that time comes! Just because the Mayan calendar is coming to the end don't mean that's the end of the world. The guy died and no one wanted to continue his work. And I don't blame them either. Who wants to spend their life putting out a calender for 5125 or so years? lol. It's going to happen in such a quick second their shouldn't be anything to fear about the world ending. Just worry about your own soul and if you obeyed God according to His will and what the Bible says their shouldn't be anything to fear.

FAKE!!!!!!!!!!! Since I been born they have been predicting the end of the world about every other year since 1977. In 2011 they said the world would end in the spring time and then again in October. I think people should start thinking a little bit more about life than DEATH.

I've seen some documentaries on the Mayan calendar ending in 2012,also seen some doc. where the ancient time devices in china also stops in 2012. Also there some reference in which during king Arther's time about the world ending in 2012.But it could also be nothing more then when calendar was made maybe something happened that they couldn't continue the calender further. When the white man invaded this land their way of life was totally disrupted. Whole native tribes were ether taken over, or slaughtered to extinction. The natives were force to abandon their way of life. Many customs, religions,lively hood, was basically erased! So, I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped @2012 working on the calender. Mmmm, I wonder if there's any reference about this with Nostrodomous' journals. In which he predicted from the beginning up to Princess Diana's death. He only miss spelled Hitler's name by one letter; Hisler.
If this is for real, I hope it happens quickly like the earth crashing into the sun. I'm sure we won't feel a thing & it'll be over in nano seconds! Every1 is worried about 2012 the earth dying or being destroyed. What most ppl don't understand is that the earth has been dying since the beginning. Our oceans & sea life are dying out, air pollution,Ozone is getting thinner& thinner. Species are being wiped out due to temp. changes. There may come a time when these changes could cause the earth to suddenly have a dramatic change in it's axes & we find ourselves
hurdling towards the sun.All I can say is Live for Today....

Diffinately fake fake fake noe has been numerous predictions I. The past a d the earth is still here one knows the day or the hour when this world will end, there has been numerous predictions in the past, but no one really knows..

If one thinks about it - it's a Mayan calendar.  What happens when we get to the end of our 12-month calendar?  Does the world end?  No.  We just buy new cute pictured calendars and start a new year.  Same with the Mayan one - it's just their calendar takes longer to get to the end than the one we use.

There are other cultures that have multi-year cycles - the one that comes to mind is the Jewish 7-year cycle, where the 7th year was the year of Jubilee in the old testament.  That year debts were forgiven, land went back to their original owners, etc... Then another 7-year cycle began.  I see this Mayan calendar similar to that 7-year cycle.  The world won't "end" - it just signifies a new beginning of another  Mayan calendar year.

I definitely don't think it's true at all.  No one knows when anything is going to happen unless it's related to mankind and we created it.  As a result, we don't know when the worlds gonna end and we don't know when doomsday is!!

I don't believe it at all. The world has been predicted as ending so many times already. And yet the date comes and goes and the world is still here, so I wouldn't waste your time worrying. Besides, when the world does end it will probably be so fast that you won't need to worry about it. If one of the stars near the earth expires we will be dead instantly, so you can find a small comfort in that.
