I HAVE BOTH TOO AND WITH A GREEN DOT CARD YOU HAVE FEES BUT WITH ACCOUNT NOW I NEVER HAVE FEES-I HAVE HAD ACCOUNT NOW FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY CHARGES AND YOU CAN DEPOSIT UP TO $5,000 WHERE AS GREENDOT YOU CAN ONLY DEPOSIT 1,000 AND THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERY DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL YOU MAKE.  SO IT IS GOOD TO HAVE BOTH BUT IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A CHOICE FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT AND PAYING BILLS GO WITH ACCOUNT NOW!

i just signed up for accountnow. i liked it a lot up until they automatically charged me the $9.95/monthly premium membership, when i signed up for the classic. then when i e-mailed them about it, i got a response e-mail that was in no way relevant to my question. anyone had this happen?

i had a Walmart money card apart of green dot. I loved it. No fees. Well a monthly fee, but it will be waived if you added $1000 or $700 (for me) if you are a walmart employee.

Greendot has too many fees for my liking..AccountNow is always comin up with something new to offer its customers...an there is an activation fee (but not if u use direct deposit)...an the customer service thru email is not the best...-they dont like to tell you anything thru email-...but on the phone they are very very professional...

and they want your business!...so they go out of their way to keep you as a customer...and if you refer someone to them...you get $20 for each person that adds money to their account...nice card.

Try bank freedom its free to get it. Also if you get 500.00 dollars in direct deposit they will waive the 4.95 monthly fee. Its great card try that. There our no fees just the 4.95 if you don`t get direct deposit up to 500.00 per month

I have been a customer of account now for 3 years and they are awesome-Everything is done on-line and you can deposit up to $5,000-Greendot has way too many fees and you can deposit only up to $1,000 or $1,200.  I check my accoun online and never ever have I been charged a fee except for debits and that was only $1.00 ata time.  Go "account Now"! You won't be sorry
