PALINDROMES
« on: May 22, 2011, 04:19:26 am »
I'm starting a word game for posting PALINDROMES. Here is the definition.

palindrome: A word, phrase, verse, or sentence that reads the same backward or forward.

My first palindrome is:  racecar

Have fun, everyone! And, hey, no googling! Yeah, right!  ;D

Tough category.  I expect you will be getting a lot of 3 letter words.

Well, they aren't words, but here are some years that were/are palindromes: 2002, 2112, 2222, 2332...and that's all I can think of right now!

No years or numbers please. That's just too easy and it is not a palindrome or in the spirit of the game! If you can't think of any, Google 'palindromes'! You'll find some if you're persistent. Alternatives: try the dictionary or just put on your thinking cap!

Three-letter ones are easiest. Here's another one: pap.

As long as it's a word or a phrase that makes sense both forwards and backwards, it qualifies.
