I think a lot of bottled water is just bottled tap water.  I recently bought a case of bottled water that was from Los Angeles municiple water system.  I thought, that is pretty silly, LA stink water shipped all the way to OH for my personal enjoyment. Iusually get one at the start of the summer then rewash and reuse the bottles from the bulk bottled water we get. We have a ground water cistern and I will bath in it but am a little squimish on drinking it even though we have water fillters. Hate to buy all those plastic bottles and then just throw them away.

I hate to retell this, but most bottled water is just that.  Bottled water.  Filtered, but the same water that they use to make your Coke and Pepsi from.  Even in the same plants.

I do like the fact that a bottle of water is simple to carry and to drink out of.  I can not tell the difference within the brands of water.  For me, water is water...

There is a bottled water that a friend turned me on to called Real Water. 8.0 PH alkalized but also negative ionized. Tastes really good and really seems to help detoxify the body. I usually just use R Osmosis water at home which then goes through charcoal filter on the fridge for cold water and ice. But I do occasionally buy the Real Water
