Have U Been to the Holy Land?
« on: May 17, 2011, 11:48:07 am »
My family and i are planning a trip to Florida this summer. While we are down there I would like to visit the Holy Land in Orlando Fl. Ive seen some pic of it. It looks very interesting. I know they have things  my 4 and 5 year old can do.  How you visit there?   How is It?    When is the best time to go?

My hubby and I went there last summer (as a joke, because we're atheists).  I don't recommend it...and not because I'm a non-believer.  It was waaayy too crowded; literally, we were shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of sweaty strangers.  Also, there was not much to look at in terms of exhibits.  Very, very pricey for such a lackluster experience.

The one good part was we found a shirt in the gift shop that said "Brainwashed by God's Word".  I took a pic of my husband holding it.  We thought it was hilarious!   ;D

The Creation Museum in Kentucky is way better.  Go there!   :confused1:

I went there when it was free, a couple of months ago. But then it was really packed because they had a free day for the first so many people that were in land It was a neat Exp, not sure whats the best time to go really. But its worth to go see for the first time.

Would love to go sometime.  I hope I get the opportunity.  One of my dreams is to go to the real Holy Land.   We had the opportunity around 14 years ago, but didn't.  Now I wish I would have done everything possible to make that happen.  Things were very peaceful at that time too...relatively speaking.  Crossing fingers another opportunity will come my way again.

I think it is a shame to see people purposely mocking God and it will be avenged. God does not like mockers, There are many examples. As far as the Holy Land in Florida, this is the first I am hearing of such a place as this. If I go to the Holy Land, it will be because I am actually going to the place where our Savior who gave His Life on the cross for us, because we are covered in sin, and would face a tormenting death if not. He bled for hours, was tortured, and some mock this. No, what is going to happen will happen. I have seen far too much and can assure you this is no joke.

I had not heard of it until now.  I would love to visit the true Holy Land.  I'll get to one day when Jesus sets up His kingdom and I won't have to fear for my life then, either.
Have a wonderful day!

God does not like mockers, There are many examples.

And this is where the logic train stops for most people.  A perfect god would be indifferent to "mockers"; he/she/it would not display such petty HUMAN feelings.  A perfect god would not have needed to create ANYTHING to satisfy a "desire" (especially a bunch of puny people to worship its *bleep*)...he/she/it would just be.
