Earth Cleansing or Ending ?

 This  2012 is like Y2K incident. Money making scheme.  I know the world will be cleansed of  manmade structures but not ever destroyed.  The time isnt given . Just like  a thief  in the night, is when it ll happen. (for example a date or time) a destruction will happen on the earth. Nothing will happen to the earth. Just the things on the surface. like people,  buildings, etc by God Power which is Spiritually controlled.So as far as  those mayan indians, scientist  and theologians spectulation is all heresay is what it boils down to. So live life and enjoy self. Dont put your life in a little box. what do you think? open forum here to all FCers....

I like your posting and I might add  " Live everyday like it's your last".  There has been much hype about 2012.  It's up to humanity to make the change to cleanse the earth.  If not, nature will take its course and and we will be another failed mutation.  The earth has been around for billions of years.   It's not going anywhere.

The correct verbiage is that the "world as we know it" will come to an end.  It's already changed dramatically.  We've not done so good at taking care of our planet so she's already cleansing herself.  She's stretching and waking up for a new age.  Multiple ancient scriptures talk about it as well as the oral traditions of the Native Americans and other cultures.  Check out the works of Gregg Braden.  He's personally traveled the world and checked out the ancient texts and has some good insights.  Sure there are people who will exploit anything and everything, but that doesn't mean that the underlying event means nothing.  The difference is that Y2K was a man made problem and 2012 involves a natural cycle of alignment.  We need to band together and cooperate to help everyone get through these trying times.

I really like your post! It is an interesting topic. In my opinion, I think that the Revelation is being fulfilled. Here, it's the middle of May and we are still defrosting our cars in the morning. Just a year ago, we were wearing shorts, unlike now, I'm debating whether or not I should store my winter clothes. I think of each day as a blessing and I see that we have to live each one like it's our last, because we don't know whether the Earth is clensing or ending...

Wow. Yet another armageddon thread! I think this is like the 5th one since last week. It's pretty obvious that christians have some odd fetish for the destruction of society.

Weather is always weird in the US. Last week it was 90 degrees + up here. The weekend was chilly, and now it's slowly warming up again. It was perfect out today for me-- loved every second of it. It seems as if the "Heat God" had some sort of premature ejaculation.

As many times as it has been said that the world is ending I would rather just wait and see if it happens while Im still alive. When Y2K hit I was sitting in a church because everyone thought the world was gonna end. Not sure what being in a church was gonna do but okay I guess it makes people feel safe. If all the lights had gone out I wouldve just been creeped out. All this nonsense needs to stop honestly no one knows when the world is actually gonna end but we are getting dangerously close.
