posting pictures
« on: May 15, 2011, 11:48:18 pm »
I have seen so many pictures posted in the forum and was wondering how you were able to do this. Could you maybe walk me through the process of doing this? Keep in mind that I am computer illiterate so make the steps as simple as possible. Think of me as a kindergartener who needs help solving a problem. That's the level of my computer knowledge. Thanks in advance.

I have tried to upload some neat pictures to post here also but can never get them to copy.  I guess I need to go back and watch the tutorial again.
Have a wonderful day!

When you write in the forum and want to post a picture, you can do so by clicking the "Additional Options" below your message. When that gets expanded, there'll be a place to "Attach:" files, like pictures. All you then have to do is browse to the picture's location on your computer and have it get uploaded. Note that you can only make 4 attachments per post and the total size is 128kb.

Alternatively, I believe you can use the "Insert Image" button (the button has a framed picture icon) if the picture is on some website with an internet URL. If you are a member of a picture-sharing website, you can click this button and insert the URL address to the picture. I've only used the first method for posting my pictures, so I'm not sure if I have the second method correct, but I'm pretty sure that's how it operates.

Okay so I go to additional options and find attach. Got that part. But I have no idea how to find the pictures on my computer hard drive? I know I imported some from my ipod but I don't know how to attach them to a forum post.
