I don't have to like him or not like him. I don't have to judge him as many do because of his color or race. I know he's not an idiot to run for president knowing whether or not he's born in the US. I know looking at the CHOICES given to us for next's yrs Presidency is really, really,really, slim pickings for both parities. I know people expected so much from him when he first took office. But it's not fair to judge what's he's done as too little. Look at the pile high issues that he had inherited & still is taking on & working on it. Look back at what he's done while in office & it will add up to more than most past presidents had done due to the conditions the nation is in. Lastly, it took 3 Presidencies to finally take down Osama Bin Laden. Who finish the job that took several decades to Accomplish?

ABBO! (Anybody But Barack Obama) I could understand giving a president time to fix problems (s)he inherited from his/her predecessors, but not when what they are doing is the exact opposite of what needs to be done! In order to fix our economy, we need a stronger private sector; the public sector produces very little goods and services, whereas the growth of our economy has always stemmed from the private sector. So instead of growing government at the expense of increasing taxes on private sector workers and mortgaging our country's future with higher debt, we should be cutting government spending. Instead of using QE2 to buy back our own debt at the cost of increased inflation (and, BTW, inflation should include the cost of gas, food, and other items like as was done in the 1970s so as to show people the true fall in value of our dollar!), we should (again) be cutting government spending so that our debt isn't so huge. Instead of increasing our debt limit, we should learn to spend within our means.

That last one really irks me. If I am having difficulty paying off my credit cards, the credit card companies don't increase my spending limit. If anything, the credit companies are likely to decrease my limit and force me to spend less and to live within my means of income. Why, then, is the government doing the exact opposite?!

If Obama can get another  4 years in office, i dont think he will be able to fix all the problems he was just handed way too much. I voted for Obama and will do the same again and will vote democratic after obama is gone.

Obama definitely I like having a man in office who is very optimistic. Not to mention I think he understands the people of America better being all mixed racially and culturally like he is. That's what represents America today, I think... more so than just a white president that might've been rich his whole life.

I wish people would give him more credit. They shouldn't expect him to come in and create miracles within 2 years. He stepped into presidency with A LOT of serious problems to fix. At least he's working on fixing problems and not creating them. You have to spend money to make money.

Though it's always like this. A Democrat comes in, Republicans are unhappy. A Republican comes in, Democrats are unhappy. It goes back and forth.

Ogden.  Yes, that's right, me!  I announced my run for President this AM on Twitter (@SoulEverlasting).  Wish me luck.  I know, nobody's heard of me, but I figure what the heck, can I do worse than some that have actually held the office?  Look at poor old Herbert Hoover (Great Depression).  Or how about Jimmy Carter (God bless him, but it was a tough ride).  With our country in debt up to our ears, who's to say who can dig us out!  Give me shot!  Can I count on your vote?

On a side not, if any FC staff members are monitoring this, don't be offended.  I am not trying to promote myself on this site.  I doubt whether my run for the Oval Office will gather much speed!

Well I agree with the statement that says that President Obama is the one who brought down Osama Bin Laden, if out previous president had taken the bull by the horns and invest all our efforts to find him and not create 2 wars, then things might be different.  As for the economy, yes Obama  has spent a lot but the crisis of our economy was not created by him, and he is not the only person rsponsible for our crisis, he inherited the condition and he has no magic wand to fix everything with a little wave.  If either of the 2 parties would really sit down and think on what is the best for the people of the good USA and not just what is good for the richer and/or for MY PARTY (republicnas and democrats alike) then we could probably move on, but while they keep on taken from us to give to the big companies nobody will be able to fix the problems. 

Here I am a family of 4 with two working parents (me with 2 jobs plus my mom's and wife's responsibilities) struggling to make meets end, still my bank acoount goes in red at least once a month, and I do not spent anything I cannot afford, even food is shop by what we need to survive and that is it, no snacks, no sodas and NO MOVIES, have NO Credit Cards and barely can pay my mortgage, cannot refinance or modify because as per the bank's view we make to much money before taxes and can afford my house.

I do not blame it only on the PRESIDENT he can do but so much are responsible for the state of our economy.  Everybody that is sitting in Washington, DC from the President to the Senators to the Congressman/woman and their minions and the good CEO of companies like Exxon/Mobil, the BANKS and others, can decide what to do with our economy and still suck at it.

And YES I would vote Barack Obama again, unless somebody else comes out worthy of my decision, so far I have not seen anybody good enough to change my decision.  And my God have mercy on us if we get somebody like Trump and/or Palin for President, I will pack and move to a 3rd world country for sure.

  We need this man to lead our country for the next 4 years. I don't agree with everything he's done but 90% of it has been positive for our country. I would hope in the next 4 years he would bring our troops home from Afghanistan, regulate the financial industry and reform immigration. A pretty tall order but it takes a MAN to do this, an intelligent man who cares about the country and not just his own political ambition. Getting OBL could have gone down very badly but he placed the interest of the country first.

Every bit as important as his re-election is electing a Congress that will work with him to accomplish his goals. So VOTE!!!!!
