stamps.com IS A *bleep* SCAM

Don't use this. $8 seems nice but they still charge your credit card in less than an hour after signing up for their "Free offer"

Even come to find out online I read it as a *bleep* scam. It's fake and you can't even get ahold of anyone to cancel. FAKE, BEWARE!!

I wouldn't know I never did the offer,I do however try to avoid offers that want my personal information like my credit card number unless it is a site I trust like Amazon.I like my credit :)

I'd figure something like stamps.com from the USPS would be ok, but apparently not.

No more of those CC deals for me.

I canceled my bank account on paypal and canceled all back up funding. Unverified now and theres no money on that card, so yeah I'm safe for now.

I should have checked on scam reports on google before I even did it but I didn't. I did get the $8 credit tho -_-

If you don't know yet all free trial has a charge, but it place on hold or it says "pending" on your bank statement.

Did it says "cleared" on your bank statement?

That amount of money, if you got credited $8, but they charge charged you like $15, its on hold the company only wants to be sure your account is liget. and has such balance in it.

It will depend on your decision, to go on or not, then the amount they charge you will be back to your bank account.

Stamps.com is a nice offer though if you have a business you can use the stamps very convenient. saves trip to the post office.

right they put a hold on your account for your 1st month to make sure it's a real bank and that you would have the money. if you cancel in time you have no problems. if you don't then that charge becomes preminate. yes i know k no talk of cancelng but with what has been said i kinda had to.... and for the record.. i have done 3 diff offers threw stamps.com one for a free trail, 30 days. one for photostamps, and one other one and i have never had a problem getting ahold of them. they are not a scam at all. maybe you wrote their number down wrong? try goign to the site and lookign again...

Oh great, you sign up for an offer without reading the Terms of Service, and then cancel because of a preauthorization charge. Then you close all your bank accounts and paypal accounts. Sounds like someone had no interest in doing this offer to begin with.

And the credit you earned, is now gone.
