Does it really matter where he was born. Shouldn't this had been something checked before hewas elected to be in office.

If his birth certificate is not important, why has he spent several million of our tax dollars hiding it? why not let it be shown?
but the blame still sets in the part of the elected officials who know it and didn't not call our attention to it.

Hawkeye I agree with your previous postings.  Anyone who has served with the military would know about how extensive the background checks are.  President Obama has presented proof of his birth.  How many times does he have to do this?  Its all smoke and mirrors on the part of the conservative party and people like Donald Trump to keep things stirred up. It's just a bunch of crap as far as I'm concerned.

I think the issue is that it is a constitutional requirement that the president of our United States is a citizen.  If he can't provide proof ( and yes every president must) then perhaps our security is lacking and he may even be an invalid president.  That woudl be different from incompetent.  I can't believe that folks think it is not important.  Pay attenion or you may be brought to attention.

It's not important because all of this was taken care of years ago.  The FBI, the Secret Service, and other government agencies all conduct extensive background checks before anyone is even allowed to run for president.

His birth certificate was already checked. They just released the "Long Form" birth certificate because people wanted to stir up more political ****. He already proved it so let's move on.

What is required has been provided. If someone has some proof that it was fake I think we would all at least hear it.

That being said, he was elected and it's not like he has the ultimate power to do whatever he wants. Seems like at this point people if peolple don't like how he's running things they would or should be more interested in getting someone else elected in 2012.

Where did you get your MIS--INFORMATION that he is the ONLY ONE EVER to have to prove that he was natural born citizen of the United states, as required by the Constitution of the United States of America?? 

He is NOT the only one!!! John McCain was questioned about his elegibility, and he QUICKLY answered all the questions..

I do not see why all the urgency has to be now. I mean his term will be up soon and where was all this when he was trying to get elected. They are just trying to find any way to make it so that he cannot run for president again thats all. I dont know who they are expecting to run this mess if he isnt the one. does anyone really think that donald trump could do a good job. i think no because he would fire everyone(lol). on a serious note cant really respect a person like that how can you try to be a positive political figure and always picking fights with people?
