I had that job interview...have to go back again this Wednesday afternoon for a second one which isn't the "norm" for them, but I think everything went well.  (It was the strangest interview I've ever been to, they didn't even wish to discuss what was on the application.  They were mostly interested in what I wanted, the hours I was looking for and position.)  So, this is still a "prayer in progress".   :angel11:
You got the Job, I need not ask.....Congrates to you  SherylShado,   I ve had that happen to me on my interview for a job , and they told me it wasnt necessary for the application, youre hired..............after asking me what day i can you start right now. That was my prayer from God answered. Because i asked God always to go before me in anything i do before i do it in life to prepare my pathway for me so it wont be blocked by satan wiles, pitchforks, or devil advocates..... Sheryl stay prayed up sister...its your only guard against the world.

I feel so sorry for those who have not placed their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, God's gift to mankind, and the need they seem to have to bash God whenever they get a chance, and satan is surely urging them on for his selfish benefit.  There is mighty powerful power in prayers.  The only thing required is that you have the Lord in your heart and have accepted Him as your personal Saviour.
Have a wonderful day!

Heh...well...if you would take your head out of the sand for a second and face reality-

The reason we are skeptical of/bash it/mock it/talk about it so much is because your system of belief has this primitive hold on your mind (and a big chunk of our society) that thinks you can go around flaunting this thing that we want nothing to do with and that you'll get no flak for it. You constantly curse the freethinkers/other believers with "If u don't believe what I do, you're gonna go to hell!" and crap like that. You even did in your last post! That's annoying to say because you are cursing people and you're too naive to see it. Might as well just say " Don't believe what I believe? WELL F YOU!" while you're at it. I have had plenty of personal saviors in my life and I'm happy and appreciative that they were there for me. None of them involved your cosmic jewish zombie or your evil deity because only delusional individuals have imaginary friends that they telepathically talk to. We don't want to be in the delusional category- we LIKE reality.

Yes prayers are very powerful :angel12: Some people don't believe in praying, but when things go bad they're the first to start praying.

Congratulations on your new job, Sheryl!  I'm glad it's worked out for you.  I agree with you that this is an example of where you, yourself, were headed where you thought you wanted to work, but God intervened in His will and way and guided the application in a different direction where He knew you would be much more happier.  Keep on doing what you're doing!!  :)

I agree.  I know it's hard for some people to believe in God but that's where the faith and trust come into it.  Like you said, the only thing we need to do is have faith and trust in the Lord as Saviour. He's offering the free gift of salvation and all we need to do (for those who choose to or not choose to) is accept that free gift.  The reward is eternity with Him.  However, for some people, it's not that easy to do that, and for others, they choose not to accept the Lord now or ever.  Some people just want outward proof/reality, like "Doubting Thomas" did after Jesus's resurrection, but in today's world, after the death and resurrection of Jesus, the way to God is through faith.  All we can do is uplift them in prayer, but it's their decision in the end.  :)

I don't think prayers are powerful actually I believe that prayer is one of the most powerful things in the world, God listen to our prayers and respond to it, in my belief prayer is the only way to talk to god the only occasion you can be with God no one in between you talk freely, you are not embarrassed to tell God how weak you are and how do you need god to help you
in my belief too God loves us to pray and to ask for things because God loves to respond to our requests God loves to make our wishes come true

Yes! prayers are powerful if you have a relationship with ''God'' are, if you have someone to call are go to like; a relative, pastor, or etc. God even hear's our prayers when we come to him and I believe that when you are sincere that he will answer. ''Not when you want him to'',but he's always right on time. You have to believe in your heart and have faith when you go to him or if you have someone else to do it for you that he is going to work the situation out.

I agree with you Lynn, Prayer does work and miracles happen when we pray. If we look around at familys who go to church & pray together,
there is peace and happiness, together-ness... family with parents who smoke, drink and party and torn apart. That is a prime example
yet so many are blinded by the evil angel of light???  They prefer death styles instead of life styles, Satan is the father of lies and death.

Yes I truly believe that prayers do work.  You need to have faith for them to be answered. I don't do anything without praying. A lot has happened to me in my life, and I wouldn't be able to be here today if I didn't pray to God.

One of the greatest powers operating in the earth (beside the word of God) is prayer (in Jesus' name)
