I've had decent results with Maybelline Mineral Power concealer over a liquid foundation.  It doesn't cover everything up, but it's certainly better than nothing.

One of my doctors suggested that taking an antihistamine might improve them, but I haven't noticed a  difference.

I inherited dark circles under my eyes from my mother's side.  I found a good product by Avon, but, unfortunately, they stopped selling it.  Darn!!  I plan to try the milk suggestion.  Thanks to the person who posted that.

My sympathies to you.  I have the same problem.  My problem is mainly caused by allergies.  Even though I take shots and medication, my eyes still look like I have been punched.  I use concealer lighter than my foundation.  It helps some.  My glasses help hide some of it, also.

Same here, it runs in the family. My son has them but not as bad as me. I swear sometimes I look like a raccoon. Nothing really seems to work ( and I hate to wear makeup) so I just deal with it. I think I look tired all the time though.

Unfortunately a friend of mine has this same problem and hers is hereditary. I never heard that it can be allergies. She always looks tired, and her eyes bruised, even when she's not. She has tried everything and nothing has worked.

I have really dark circles under my eyes - always have had since I was little, and make up helps but you can still tell they are there.  One time I didn't wear make up and my Dad said it looked like I got punched in both eyes, that's how bad it is (sweet guy, right haha?) but is there any make up or product or ANYTHING that can make my skin blend together and honestly hid them like they were never there?

My problem is I get bags under my eyes. Even when I got a lot of sleep, I look like I didn't. Must be something genetic b/c  I  seen it on the young kids too. As for your issue, have you tried putting cucumbers on you eyes. I too have discoloration on skin esp. after an adult acne attack. I use a cotton ball & hydrogen proxide  which  helps lighten the discolored  skin. I'm also thinking that you're problem might be due to your diet.  Check with your doctor. You might want to ask your doc to refer you to a skin doc. You might also check into internet for info. For example from that show called the doctors & Dr. Roze has a web site if you looking for answers. If  I come upon anything that my help you, I'll let you know.

Does it really work? My wife gets dark circles under her eyes from stress and so do I, we don't have a lot of money but we sure can afford vitamin d milk and cotton *bleep*, lol.

I have noticed the more time I spend in front of my computer, the worse my dark circles/bags under my eyes get. Not sure if there is any real medical logic behind it, just a thought.

There is this product called hydrolyze that is suppose to remove the dark circles.  Maybe that will help you without using foundation.  Once you take off the foundation the circles are still there.  Hopefully this product can allow you to forget about wearing makeup and going natural and still look good.

Also, bags and dark circles under they eyes could mean a person needs to detox.

Bags under the eyes can also be low thyroid.

Aging can also cause bags under the eyes.

As others said, it could be hereditary.

What needs to be done is more than just covering it up with makeup and concealer.

For instance:

Detoxification, such as body cleanses (internal) such as colon cleanses, liver/gallbladder flushes, kidney cleanses, balancing of hormones, energetic balancing, plenty of quality sleep, good diet such as organic, plenty of good water (no fluoride/chlorine).  The basic stuff.

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies need to be addressed.  Look up Essential 90, Dead Doctors Don't Lie.

Bags under the eyes can be that the fat pad is bulging due to atrophied muscles.  Facial exercises such as Carol Maggio's Facercise and/or The Flex Effect.

NCR (Neurocranial Restructing) may help as it brings the cheekbones and face forward.  Look up NCR, Dr Dean Howell, and non surgical face lifting.

Bags under the eyes can be corrected by blepharoplasty if one wants to go that route.
