I say dieting alone is a waste - excersize is much more effective.

Simple, burn more calories than you consume.  Exercise and eating healthy.  I don't believe in diets.  Never try a diet that you can't do for the rest of your life.

IME, just eat alot less and you'll watch the pounds fall off. Exercise, yes it certainly helps... but the real equation is burn more calories than you consume. Easy really. Hard to do but easy to understand.
