Trump for President?
« on: April 19, 2011, 10:22:58 am »
He's been in the news lately talking about it.  What do you think about D. Trump running for President of the United States?

He won't get elected, so if he wants to spend his money campaigning on a lost cause, the more power to him.

I don't think he'll win an election -- even in a primary
I also don't think he'd make a good president -- he is not conducting himself well thus far in my opinion

:P He was quoted as saying, " I wish I really didn't have to run for President." Me too,Donald, me too.
He just wants to keep things stirred up for the Tea Baggers and I don't think he is serious at all. If he is, God help us.

I believe Donald Trump would do well as president.  I believe he could turn this country around financially and possibly make this country some money.

Only in America one can witness the kinds of mysterious things that have been seen, heard, and accomplished. When Americans go broke, homeless, jobless, thankless, hopeless, tiredness, messiness, forgiveness,  THE  IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES POSSIBLE.  COME ON MR TRUMP AND THE TRUMPEES! GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT!

lol what would be nice is if he dipped into that wonderful fortune of his and gave the tax payers a stimulus of his own. Not that it is his responsibility, we got ourselves into this mess but heck it would help!

You have got to be kidding!! I really dont think he is a viable candidate. You might as well have Shawn Hannity or Rush Limbaugh run for President. Donald is a good Businessman but, President. I really dont think so!

I know all too little about politics. However, I did vote for Ross Perot. Why? Because he sounded like a business man (wealthy), who know what he was doing, and how to get the job done.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but our national debt is now a staggering 14 trillion dollars. I don't suspect that any one man, no matter who it is, could ever wipe such a debt out in one or two terms as president. But wouldn't it be nice to have someone who is more focused on the BOTTOM LINE than anything else, be in a position to do something about it?

If Trump runs, I'll more than likely give it serious consideration like I did when Perot ran (no pun intended). How could Trump do any worse? Even terrorists would find it hard to find him, being he owns so many properties, you probably wouldn't find him at Camp David, hehe. He'd be a hard man to find.
