Bathing your dog

I took my dog to the pet shop to bathe her today and the lady gave me two  towels one to dry my dog and the other to dry myself off obviously

That is pretty funny. Was it sort of a do it yourself place or did you just want to help?

  I work and my husband stays home.  So, he cleans the dog in the extra bath tube.  I love having a husband how stays home and takes care of things around the house.  I love coming home to a CLEAN wonderful smelling dog.  And he always remembers his flea treatment, he is really good at taking care of our dog.

My boyfriend bought his dog over my house yesterday and the dog has a very high scent. He says he bathe the dog twice a week... I'm not sure. It's a Golden Retriever, is that common with this type of  ?
