I would set a rule and highly insist upon keeping this thread away from any religious talk. When I see the word "conservatives", "republicans", and "abortion" in an article, ohhh do I know the bogus religious blabbering and excuses are going to frolic forth.

Planned Parenthood is just a modern form of eugenics. It is an outlet for a liberal agenda that devalues human lives. The liberals don't want your retarded, special needs, or poor babies. So they make sure Planned Parenthood gets its funding and they strategically locate them in poverty stricken areas in order to eliminate the gene pool of poor breeding criminals. They take it even further in a study of racial boundaries claiming that black people are more likely to commit crimes and so by eliminating unwanted black babies by poor black mothers, abortion will lower the crime rate.

One scientist, Bob Edwards even claimed that anyone not terminating a down syndrome baby were sinners and genetic outlaws.

What population do they not want to have to many of? Well she next mentioned medicaid funding which primarily targets minorities.

I don't agree with abortion, but I also don't agree with a child being born unwanted and subsequently abused and neglected. It's an issue I am torn on, but I do have a problem with the political agenda behind planned parenthood and self important bastards with a superiority complex who think they have a right to decide the worth and value of anyone.

I am against abortion, but I also know that it is crucial for women to have access to doctors and nurses for exams and information. So, I can see both sides of the argument. If Planned Parenthood is going to continue receiving federal funding, I think it should be specifically designated for all of the non-abortion practices they offer. (This may be the case already, I don't know.) This should be a compromise that both sides are happier about (happier not completely satisfied with). The abortion debate will continue to be a nation-wide dilemma and I do not think any laws will be passed to completely ban it because it is such a grey area in society.

Hey Bro.....we are all going to die and be in a much better place then this. If the child isn't wanted, most likely will be neglected or worse. If the child can't be cared for.......

The emphasis needs to be in us being responsible for our actions and mindful we do not add to the population of horribly suffering children, before they are even concieved, but due to peoples irresponsibilities in that matter, what is left?

Many, many people's lives are far worse than being dead, you know.  Having children born to unfit parents certainly doesn't help this.  You'd rather have the baby grow up amongst alcoholics, drug dealers, physical or sexual abusers, poor or neglectful caretakers, etc. just so it can have a "chance at life"?  That isn't a chance at life!!

And that is Planned Parenthood's agenda and it is the liberals who are in support of it's federal funding. Regardless if conservatives in office contributed to the sickening behavior of sterilizing native americans, conservatives ARE against Planned Parenthood.

Sherene, I am afraid to ask from where you received your information.  Planned Parenthood is not what you seem to think it is.  I've volunteered at a local office (as local as you can get in my rural area), I've traveled and been inside PP offices, including in Washington, D.C. as part of a reproductive rights seminar I attended in college.  I know you well enough to know that you honestly believe what you are saying, and it makes me sad.  PP is a wonderful organization dedicated to helping women (and even though they do provide abortions, they inform fully about the procedures beforehand, at least in the offices I've been in; no one is forcing abortion on anyone in a PP office because the women make their own choices).
