I'm a member there also, but just a standard member. I'm a golden member ($140.00 in the hole) at another site. My personal opinion of those PTC's (even the known one that everyone loves) is just a waist of everyones time and money. I will never invest any of my money into those sites again. Now, that's a guarantee. If you're thinking about these sites, then forget it. People tries to get you to sign up only to give them more money. If you can't get referrals, then it's an even bigger waist. Yes, that site is and has been under investigation since like first of the year. They have even dropped a bunch of paid members for no reason. I have been into these PTC's since Dec 2010 and it frustrates me when people are saying they're making money. Well, that may be true. However, they don't tell you the whole story behind them making their money. Trust me, it's not that they're clicking away... oh no, it's them getting referrals. So, if you have problems in that area... stay away. That was my 2 cents and honesty!
I wish I knew what other site you are talking about. Are you saying you are having trouble getting your money from paypay too? Just wondering
I'm not sure of the reference either, but an educated guess would be NeoBux. So far, I've not had a problem with them. Any money I have invested there, I've gotten back. However, they too, have fallen from grace. PTC Investigators has downgraded them from Elite Status, to Legit Status. NeoBux has been around for 3+ years, so they would seem to be reliable. However, most recently, they've decreased the amount per click from $0.01 to $0.001, much to the dismay of members there. You'll need to click on 100 ads, instead of 10 ads to earn a buck. What's happening as a result is Standards members (who are inevitably the Rented Referrals we all try to scoff up), are leaving the site because it doesn't pay as much. This hinders people who have upgraded their accounts, counting on the activity of those Rental Referrals.
I'm not prepared to give up on PTC-type sites as yet. I'm still experimenting. I lost money with OnBux, and am not optimistic in recovering it. I have made a little, and I stress "little" profit thus far with NeoBux. When in comes right down to it, Survey Sites, and places like, and including Fusion Cash seem to be much more reliable in making the pocket change we all come to love having. That's not to say that ALL PTC sites are bad. But their track records are now becoming a negative point-of-conversation. Onbux and Neobux were the two biggest ones out there. One of them is listed as SCAM, and one of them has fallen from grace. Gives a person pause when considering whether or not to make a move on the 3rd in line - which I believe right now is ClixSense.
Now, just so people don't freak out. The way I understand the rules around here. You are allowed to mention other companies by name without fear of retaliation from the powers that be on FC. You just can't LINK to them, as our original poster did. So, if NeoBux was NOT the company referred to, perhaps Lynxcub will shed more light.
