my oldest neice is older than me by about 8 years.... so I was born an aunt
my only "full blood" brother passed away and never became a father so I have my older neices and nephews which are children of my half-siblings.  Many also have their own kids now so I'm a great-aunt many many times over.

LOVE them all though and it's a unique situation

I am 56 years old with no kids but  I have sooooo many neices and nephews that I have never felt childless.  Now I have great neices and nephews that are too many to count as well.

Great, congrats! I can't wait until my older brother has kids but i'll probably be a while because he's so career driven.
