In my younger days, if I would take a nap, I would feel groggy and out of sorts for the rest of the day.  Now I am older, I love my afternoon naps (when I can get them).  I nap for anywhere from half an hour to an hour.  It is now very refreshing.

Now that I'm working, nap time is non-existent for me. On my days off I do happen to take a little snooze in front of the tv in my living room. Naps are the best because once you wake up from them you feel recharged.

I love to nap. When I nap I sleep for hours though and it messes up my sleeping patterns. Which is why I'm up at 4:20 AM right now. And if I sleep too long I get headaches.

Ditto!!

i love naps, but unfortunately, my little "naps"
turn into hours of snoozing away, and then
i'm wide awake come bedtime!

i try to only nap on the weekends/my days off,
and i usually tend to do this in the late afternoon
or after i eat  :P

I completely relate!

I prefer to take naps. Sometimes I do not like the way I feel when i wake up from them too. I try to meditate but usually end up falling asleep so it turns into a nap.

I absolutely love naps! I usually work mornings, and come home around 2 or 3. Right after work, I snuggle up on the couch with a nice warm blanket, my cat, and the tv remote, and fall asleep in about 10 minutes. I do agree though that sometimes waking up from the nap is hard. I hate those times when I nap, and I wake up at just about sundown, but I am disoriented from the nap and I think it's the morning, and that I slept the whole night on the couch. I've heard people say that napping everyday isn't good for you because it messes with your "sleep cycle", but whatever. My sleep cycle is already screwed up!

I enjoy taking naps when Im tired of course. I just took one a few hours ago on the couch. I kinda feel refresh when I wake up but, I still feel like going back to sleep. Maybe, its because I have a red eyes and I don't get much sleep anyways.

That is what happens to me. In fact, i slept for 2 hours this afternoon after being up very late last night. I had to force myself up or I would keep sleeping. :P
