I think swearing is not o.k. and if you think it get frustration out i disagree, it only a habit you pick up from other people (unfortunately all around us) if you would use any word when your frustrated it would work the same, If you saw the frisco kid there was a part where the 2 of the didn't know the meaning of a word and each used the others word and it worked just fine for them.

I believe it's okay because they're just words. There had to be one person who decided those words were wrong. Maybe they just didn't like the way it sounded. I don't know.

Because they give emphasis. "frankly my dear I don't give a darn" is just not as powerful.

We have been swearing for years it just happens I am not a swearer I never swear and if I did i think everyone around me would faint (a reason i dont) but in anger I have felt like swearing. Honestly I dont see the problem of swearing especially if it is just to yourself oh s*** its just words but young kids i dont like that but you do have to remember it is just words i mean swearing at people can be different. Also depends on the situation

I swear, its just something that we are all around and I pick up on it as a kid I guess. I am good about controlling it, but sometimes when something goes wrong or I get upset, I tend to swear more.

I think I swear when it comes to video games or when I'm deeply hurt.
But I'll try to replace bad words such as "you're a poop face". If someone cursed at me, I don't curse back.  ;D

I don't think we think that it is OK. I think that we know its not OK and it just happens and becomes a bad habit.
