i would like to get in shape but i do not have the motivation to do so. I hope you find something that works for you and then share it with the rest of us unmotivated people.

A pedometer is a great way to see how far you are walking.  I think  the best way is to find someone, not in the same household that you can be exercise buddies.  They can hold you accountable for your workouts.

I need to exercise for my health's sake.  I don't need to lose weight, though.
Have a wonderful day!

I've just started working out recently. I want to build my body up, actually. I'm not fat or skinny, but in between. I want an athletic figure. :)

So I've been watching programs that'll help me out. I usually go beyond it to feel some real 'burn', but it's been working. Check out www.fitclick.com as a great start (and finish) to your work out needs! It's extremely helpful, as it has work out plans, videos, and even tracks your progress and foot plan offers.

I hope that helps!

ZUMBA!  That will have you sweating in less than 20 mins!  But just like everything else in life, it will not work if you don't work it

You can either buy the dvd course or the game for the Wii.  Another great game to buy for the Wii is Just Dance - you will have tons of

fun with this one AND shed pounds!  I love my Wii.  In fact, I own 3 of them!  My kids and I play them all the time!  The games bring you together

as a family and get you active, involved with them and each other.  A win-win situation  8)

we have started eating better. began walking now that the weather is getting better. i have also been doing 20 minutes, 6 times a day on a compact stationary bike. its been 7 months and i have lost 65 pounds! i feel great too! i also have been doing the zig-zag for last 4 weeks since i hit a plateau. 3 days 1000-1200 calories then on the 4th day i do about 1500-2000 to "trick" the metabalism...seems to be working, i am out of the plateau and back to losing

I recommend picking up a copy of "Primal Blueprint" by Mark Sisson or visiting his blog - Marksdailyapple.

I'm having the same problem too!
It sucks because I've always been skinny and never actually been on a diet until I had my baby girl almost 2 years ago, so I don't know where to start.
Before her, I was walking 2-5 hours a day everyday for my job and no matter what/when/how much I eat I didn't gain (even without exercises). But not anymore :- I stll have 6 month pregnant tummy and I tried to do sit-ups but didn't last. With my little girl I can't exercise outside of my house so what can I do? I was wondering if wii fitness thing helps. It looks like much more fun than just do sit-ups and stuff. Has anyone ever tried it before?

I bought core rhythms (latin dance workout kinda thing. I chose this because it's very popular in Japan too.) dvds and started about a week ago. I haven't lost even a pound yet but every time I dance I feel my stomach gets tight and I sweat too. So it's definitely using my muscles and burning some calories. Hopefully I will be able to wear swimsuit this summer ::)

I have trouble sticking to a work out schedule also. But I enjoy Yoga at night becus it helps me relax. Yoga is probably the only thing I have been able to stick with.
