Better paying daily tasks
« on: March 24, 2011, 05:57:50 pm »
I usually don't do the "daily tasks" because they seem complicated and time consuming--- and they are for the most part, under 50 cents! Is there any way we could earn at least a dollar for the "daily tasks"?

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

I sometimes do them. They aren't that bad once you get the hang of them. I usually do the one that's paying over $1. They usually take less then half an hour to complete and if you do them right they always credit!

I have tried a couple of times doing the daily tasks and didn't have much luck.  I think the problem was that I was trying to multi-task it, and that just does not work.  You have to pay attention throughout the entire time.  I got all the way through and messed up on the last page and my percentage of correct responses went below 80%.  So anymore, I only do them when I have plenty of time on my hands.

I don't think FusionCash has any part in what tasks are offered and the amounts offered for them.  The tasks are provided via Gambit, which in turn provides them to FC to offer to us.  The type of task and amount of reward I think are purely based on what the customer/business offers.  The fact many are so low is probably because it has been proven the job will get done for what they are paying.  Think about it:  If you were a company, and you wanted a task done which took 30 minutes to complete, and you also saw people would do it for $0.25, why would you then offer more?  As long as there are people willing to do them for what they are willing to pay, they aren't going to increase the amounts.  It would take the tasks not getting done for amounts to increase.  If anything, they'll probably tinker with them in terms of trying to offer less, until they ultimately find the "sweet spot".

The key to the tasks are to just find ones you like doing and avoid those which are either tedious or boring.  I'm just happy to have the extra chances to earn some extra change when I feel like attempting some.

 :BangHead:

This is similar to what is happening to me. I do work in exchange for a room. I am an RN.  People wont let me work barter exchange equal for equal because they can get others to do it for nothing. like they think you work for 8 hours a day. for 5 days that is 400 a week.

you can rent the room for 400 a month so why expect someone to work 40 hours a week. if its 4 days then thats 1600 a month for the room.

i had a woman who wanted me to work 8 hours then make her dinner and do dishes and wait on her.

these kind of people just want a slave they pay nothing for.

So if there is anyone is Indy who wants to exhange 50 hours of work a month for a 500 month room rental fee contact me.

oh so the point is that

people will live in and work for 8 hours a day for a room so those who do a great job but believe in equal for equal dont get the deals.

i consider even if I pray for you for 3 hours a day. like I pray. that is compensation.  :angel12:

I do daily tasks every day (I'm a stay at home mom  :) ). I like them but not right now! >:(
Very often I don't get credited for completing Daily Surveys (it sucks because I rarely qualify for them and when I do I don't get credited :angel12:), but it never really happened to Daily Tasks until yesterday (maybe once in 50 times it happened). For the last 2 days, pretty much every task I do, I don't get credited :- Has anyone else experienced this problem?? It's frustrating!!

I received the credit that didn't get credited for completing daily tasks a couple days ago today so even if you haven't received it yet, you will soon  But in exchange I didn't get credited for watching 2 videos today :dontknow: It never happened before.

Some daily task are a dollar (I know that one of the surveys are.) and there are plenty of other dailies under the special tab. Although it might seem like a lot of work they do add up over time. I don't think you'll be making what you would make with minimum wage and you're not going to get rich but considering its home-bound work that requires little experience and time I'd say its worth it.

I can't stand the daily tasks. Most of them are pretty stupid, and if they already know the answers, then why are they paying you to answer? I tried a few, and I never could make it above 80%. I suppose if I spent more time trying and trying, and figured out how to put in the answers that they want, I might finally get one to credit. But I think they are pointless, and there are much quicker ways of earning money online. At first I thought they were intended to find out the efficacy of search results, etc, but since they already have the answers predetermined, their goal is obviously not to see how effective the results are. I still haven't figured out how they make money off the tasks you do, but they must be getting a profit somehow.

Crowdflower is notorious for their low rates, as well as the "Oops! Some of your answers are not as expected..." messages

I think the idea is to keep an eye on them, and occasionally a good paying one will show up.  There recently was a series of tasks asking of a good question was generated for a set of keywords - that one was fast and easy. And the Ken Fisher hits usually pay pretty good.
