And the DEAD in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. ....Therefore comfort one another with these words.

God promised that we will see our loved ones again and we shall.

Yes, I fully expect to see my brother again in Heaven someday with other members of my family who were believers.  My mother was a wonderful Christian woman who prayed for her children every day.  I truly believe that my brother was given extra time here on earth (his doctors called him a miracle man because he survived more than six years with lung cancer after being given three months to live) for him to return to God and to become closer to his family.  There were so many people praying for him.   So we were grateful for the time that we had.  Thanks again for all the prayers and good wishes.  I am truly grateful.

I'm sorry for your loss. I can't say I understand your feelings because I don't. These are the days only you can feel how deep the sorrow is, and only God can know. Hang in there. When you have time, get a book title "The Disappearance is the Universe". Hope it can help you understand life and death a little better.
