Proposing A New Sub-Forum Category
« on: March 17, 2011, 11:40:10 am »
Greetings Kohler & Admins

I think I sparked something, or if I wasn't responsible for sparking it, I'm certainly part of the clan that has. It seems more and more people on Fusion Cash are getting into the idea of posting GAMES and CONTESTS here in the forums. Just now, I read a threat started by Clint08 for A New FC Puzzle in the Off-Topic forum. Lots of fun, as he put together a really nice Word Search puzzle. I'm sure you are all aware of the games I've started on FC as well, and there are a sprinkling of others throughout the Forums.

Maybe it's time to think outside the box on this idea. Kohler just redesigned the Tues & Sat Promos, which used to run consecutively (Tues-Fri, Sat-Mon). Now these promos are just two days each, based on a poll taken for input. Tues/Wed, and Sat/Sun.

This leaves an open door to set up a Sub-Forum for THURSDAY/FRIDAY, which if set up, could be used as USER PROMOS & GAMES!!! Rules could be in place to announce who runs each promo, and in what order. If a user wanted to offer prizes, they could do so up to $3.00, if they are willing to forfeit their next Forum Bonus. Or they could opt to run the game for fun only, no prizes awarded.

It would be a great way to keep the masses excited, and to get them all to participate even more. Just a thought. Feedback welcome by everyone.

Mike mentioned the subject of polls being taken for input. I have a question: if I wish to weigh in on a topic that is being discussed, where do I find the polls on Fusion Cash? Can anyone help me with this? ???

Greetings rbudovec1947,

The poll I referenced has been closed awhile ago. Kohler was asking for thoughts on changing the previous line-up of the Tues and Sat promo. He had suggested running them as 3 day promos, or as 2 day promos, or letting one of them go altogether, and run the other one for the week, etc. The vote has since then been closed, and Kohler made the decision to change the promos to twice a week, two days each. Tues/Wed, and Sat/Sun. So, I don't think he's looking for any more feedback on that issue.

Oh, and in case there's any confusion, it really wasn't a POLL, it was one of those Google FORMS he likes to use :) So just in case someone's wondering when POLLS came back to the forums, they didn't, hehe. Poor choice of words on my part, sorry about that.

However, feedback on the topic I raised above is certainly welcome. :) Would you like to be the first to weigh in?

I think that is a great idea.  I love to play games and would like to easily find them.  I would play for free if it is a game, puzzle, etc that interests me.
