Bread Machine
« on: March 11, 2011, 07:10:45 am »
Does anybody use one to make their homemade bread?  It is super easy and there are a ton of recipes out there.  The bread smells so good and it tastes wonderful.  You no longer have to stand at the counter and knead the bread.  The machines have gone down in price and are a lot quicker baking than the first one I bought.

Oh yes. It can't get any easier than this. Bread is my absolute weakness. I love it all. I just let it cool enough so I don't burn myself then I slice it and slather the warm bread with butter and enjoy. I am in heaven.

I had one and ended up burning it up the fist time I used it, so I just do it the old fashion way that my Grandmother taught me. I like the results better. The bread seems firmer.

I love my bread machine too but wish it made a bigger loaf.  THen, I got my husband into the bread kneading thing and he likes to make it by hand, so we get two loaves at a time.  I always have problems getting the bread machine loaf out of the pan without messing it up....any suggestions there?  Umm, think I'll go make some tonight.

I don’t have a bread machine. I have always wanted to make my own bread instead of buying store-bought bread. If bread machines are more efficient and affordable right now, which brand do you recommend?

I absolutely LOVE making bread.  I had a bread machine once but never used it.  I love the whole kneading-out-your-problems and stresses of the day.  I gave my bread machine away in exchange for a camera and haven't looked back since.  I love to be involved in the baking process.

The neat thing about a bread machine is experimenting with different ingredients. I like cinnamon or herb breads. :)

love my bread machine!

I have always wanted to get a bread machine but I am not sure what to buy and whether I want one that makes 2 loaves at a time or not, then I have the problem of eating it myself Love warm bread with just butter did you say minute on the lips forever on the hips. I never had luck making it the old fashioned way my mother said that I killed the yeast so the bread always came out like a brick so I gave it up but now with technology and machines that practically speak to you I will have to give it another whirl.
