I went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Carnival in Brazil and had a good time doing both.  Not sure if I will make an effort to go to either place again because I don't celebrate it.  I didn't even know when it was.  I'm off but I don't plan to do anything but stay home.

I have been to six bachelor parties at New Orleans Mardi Gras and only two of the marriages have lasted!  Three to four days of debauchery, urine, vomit, nudity...way to crazy but loads of fun to watch!  My last trip to New Orleans was during their VooDoo fest which was fantastic at a different level.  I am planning on doing the Jazz-fest one of these years.

I haven't been able to celebrate Mardi Gras since I moved away from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Schools even close for Mardi Gras there. But here it is just another day. I could at least make a king cake and have a few drinks I guess lol.
