Do you need some noise when you are sleeping?

It doesn't matter to me what sound is in the background. Once I'm asleep, you can run a locomotive through the bedroom and I won't wake up.  Even a ringing phone won't wake me.

i need some noise like the fan from my computer. if i have it all quite i can hear a ringing in my ear which drive me nuts and cant sleep. its due to all the loud music i listen to

when i was younger i always had to have the radio on while i was falling asleep, and would wake up if someone turned it off. luckily i grew out of that habit, considering that my husband likes it super quiet when he sleeps

no i dont like ne nouse when i sleep. noise just keeps me awake but if im used to a certain noise then it doesnt bother me.

I do, just to block out other noise (ie, my roommates banging around.)  I just use a fan to provide steady noise.

I usually fall asleep with the TV on.  Later I may wake up and turn it off and fall back to sleep.

I absolutely have to have a constant flow of noise somehow in my bedroom. Music, tv, anything. If its quiet I get paranoid at any sounds outside and I won't sleep at all.

I definately have to have noise in the bedroom to sleep, otherwise the silence overwhelms me... I cant have the radio or tv though, nothing that is actually verbalizing anything. I usually have a fan going or my air purifier.

I can sleep when it is quiet, I can sleep with noise.  I like sleep, nothing going to stop me from getting it!!!  My man likes to have a fan on his face, not sure how he does that.
