I'm so upset because my brother and his girlfriend are having a child that they are not financially or mentally ready for. Why do these things happen my goodness? He's 22 and she's 20 years old. He has a part-time job and she has nothing, while they're both living at my mom's house. The girlfriend is trying to take over my mom's house. She's lucky she's freaking pregnant 'cause I feel like caving her face in right now. Also, she basically tricked my brother into getting her pregnant. She was taking birth control pills and all of a sudden she stops taking them behind his back. That's sickening. Why would she have to do that to make my brother's life worse than what it is? Uuuggghh! I'm so peeved right now. I don't even want to hear it when the baby's born. All the favors they're going to be asking of me. He just better be damn sure 100% that the child is his. I don't care how much he loves her because she definitely is not a saint. Her family isn't the best either. I just fear that when the child is born that it's going to suffer a whole lot. Neither one of them are prepared to take care of a child. He's so stupid because he believed that she was using the pills and he didn't take secondary precautions to avoid getting her pregnant. It's just want one of those days where I want to freakin' yank my hair out because I already know they're going to be hounding me for everything. This time I'm going to wash my hands like Pilate and not even worry about it. No more nice older sister.

Try to convince your mother to kick them out.  It's not fair to her that she'll have to support these grown people.  They made their bed they need to lie in it and that means taking their baby and living on their own and not expecting other people to support them.

Your mother or you might have to take care of that child because that could be your mother's grand child and your niece or nephew she's carrying.  Plus, if the baby is blood related to you, the baby's your family and you don't want the taxpayers people to be taking care of your family.

Don't feel too bad. It could be worse. My 16 year old sister is due at the end of April.

This is why so many babies are abused because a lot of people are not mentally and physically fit to nurture and take care of a baby.  Your Mom will probably end up taking care of this baby because both people involved in this doesn't sound too responsible.  Good luck.
