I consider myself spiritual more than religious.  To me the difference is that when you are religious you subscribe to a specific established belief system that you completely identify with.  You label yourself as a specific follower of a religion i.e you are Catholic and you subscribe to a strict set of Catholic doctrine and the beliefs that go a long with it.  I personally do not label myself as belonging to any specific religion.  I don't practice a specific religion.  I believe in a higher power.  Here is something that explains it better than I can now.
