Ours was a hornet. Boy, was that a long time ago! Thanks for bringing back a lot of good memories. Actually, I live about 90 miles from my little hometown and there are a bunch of us in the area that connected through Facebook and have a lunch once a month. It's really nice. Of course, we have reached the age where we're starting to lose our classmates and it's wonderful to be able to reconnect with those who are left. Proud member of the class of 1964. A wonderful time to grow up in middle America!

My high school mascot was a Roughneck. Obviously I grew up in an oil town. Fun fact: we were one of only 2 schools with that mascot in all of Texas. Pretty cool considering how big the state is.
