America has always been thought of as the place that anyone, no matter the race, creed, or color, can find real hope and a good portion of freedom.  I share those same sentiment as well. In spite of so many differences in opinion and beliefs, past misfortunes and disappointment, we are really blessed to be here is my perspective.  What is yours?

I think that you can be all that you want to be anywhere but your dream is probably easier to achieve in America.  I think that success lies in the eyes of the beholder and that you create your own situation.  If you are happy being a Chiclet sales person in Tijuana you have created your own happiness and success. Being the best will always be an unachievable dream.

America is not the great melting pot of freedom and choices as it used to be. So if I was asked that question from a foreigner my reply would be, 'not anymore, stay home'.

i agree with the 2nd post...you can be all you can be anywhere, provided you try hard enough (or that might just be wishful thinking...i'd like to think it's true).
