I have been sick this winter with 2 colds and now I am waiting for it to warm up.  We have had more snow this winter than we have had in years.  I want to get out and enjoy the warm weather when it gets here.

Oh, that is just awful.  I've had too many of those days.  I telecommute from home now and am not around too many people, sick or otherwise, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  I used to go to bed and stay there for a day or two when I would first get sick - if I could - but I would go to work so they could send me home and wouldn't think I was calling out for a fake reason!    I hope you feel better soon.  Stay in bed as long as you can and drink tons of fluids!

Try this Phillipine cure. Take onion peels and fresh ground ginger root and let it steep a few minutes. Then add honey to taste. Boost your immunity

i haven't been sick in a very long time and i think it has a lot to do with my fresh juice i have every day. i juice 12 carrots, 2 apples, 2 oranges, half a cucumber, 2 stalks of celery, one beet, and a small chunk of fresh ginger and that makes 2 8oz servings for my husband and myself, and 2 4oz servings for our kids. sometimes i change it up by using pears instead of apples, or by adding a small bunch of spinach, and i always add pineapple to it when that time of the month comes around because fresh pineapple juice does wonders for menstrual cramps

Funny topic beause i just got a cold. Hopefully it's just a minor thing. I never want to go through strep throat again. The worst cold ever. Feeling like you're swollowing knives everytime. I always hear just to drink lots of liquids and nitetime meds always help.

Iv been feeling iccy too and my bf is sick and hurt from slipping on ice and a truck bed and he thinks he broke another rib but I think its just really really bad soreness hurt and I can just see from his side thats just it. I hope he gets better and everyone else that is sick to get better, my prayers are with them.
