I, for one, am not on facebook - for a variety reasons.  My friends and family keep telling me I should get an account because I'm their "go-to" computer person, and they were shocked I didn't have an account.  I keep telling them, don't you think if your "computer" person is not on there...there's a reason for it?

Personally I'm keeping my eye on Disapora.  That network is looking to be way more secure than Facebook will ever be.

Honestly i just recently became a facebook member due to me having dial up and cause i didnt think it would have been any easier compared to myspace but when i started it i have came in touch with alot of folks from my past.

I don't have it either.  I can't think of a good reason to get it.....of course there is always the few cents I might miss on FC by not having it.....lol

I second every word of that.
The only reason i got one recently is because employers now adays want your freaking facebook page. And force you to get one even if you don't want one.

The only reason I have an account on Facebook is for the few points or cash I can earn from the sites I use. This includes FusionCash, because they'll pay you $1 for becoming a fan.

I may probably this account sooner or later.

My sister is not on Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace! She just recently got texting on her phone! My parents aren't either! But everyone  else seems to be on there!
