....Hmmm thats an interesting question, cuz its not like they are some sort of financial institution, only thing i can think of is they want to make sure people are not doing their promotions over an over again...they offer a good service, but i dont like some of their business practices

They did not ask for my ssn. If they did I would not do the survey. Did you get it resolved?

that's odd that they asked for your SSN. I did however notice that you need to provide 2 secret questions and one of the options was LAST 4 of SSN, not the complete SSN. If you don't want to provide this you can click the drop down box and select a different security question (I think)

i did both stamps.com offers and have never had a problem. while the 2 that were out before not sure if there is a new on have'nt looked yet. but yes only time i ever seen about ssn was the secert qeustion that you can change to something else.

also both approved for me quicky. one was sign up for the trail... the other was to buy something and i bought a gift card :)
