Just so you know, I have been looking periodically to find a name that scores higher than the current high score (no luck yet).  I'm sure other people are as well.

Thanks for letting me know. 996 is a hard score to beat. Still plenty of time though to find that PERFECT name! Good Luck with your hunting.

Here's Some Help To All Game Players

It can be a little daunting to find a person whose name both begins with an A, and ends with an A, all by yourself. Granted, some names are a lot more familiar than most, like the ones already found by players thus far. However, if you let GOOGLE do the work for you, you can come up with LOTS of A.A. names. Here's how you do that.

Think of a FIRST name that begins with A. It doesn't matter which name it is. Al, Alfred, Andy, Andrew, Amanda, Aileen, etc. Type that in the Google search engine. Then, a SPACE, then start the last name with an A. What Google does next is to start making suggestions of the First name you wrote, and words that follow after it that start with an A. Some suggestions are names, and others are not. Now, select a name suggested by Google, and test it out. It's as easy as that!

Now, don't stop there. Start typing in a second letter after that A. Maybe your first name is Ally. So, type in "Ally A", and see what comes up. Then, add a "b" - "Ally Ab" and see what comes up. "Ally Ac" and see what comes up, etc. If you don't like anything that came up by the time you reached "Ally Az", start over with a new first name.

Here's one other thought. Do a search for children's first names that begin with the letter "A". By the time you do all this, you'll be hunting for a good long while! And I'm sure someone will be able to ACHIEVE PERFECTION! Good Luck Everyone!

Hey ajann1983,

Thanks for your submissions. I have confirmed all your entries.

SCORE 208 For "ashley avery"
SCORE 109 For "avery anderson"
SCORE 133 For "artie abrams"

Not enough to take over the Current Leader at 996, but it's good to see you playing! :) Keep it up.

Hey Players. I wanted to give a quick RECAP of the activity thus far in the game. Figured we're on Page 3 now, so I didn't want to have everyone needing to go through the entire thread to do this themselves. Here goes.

Remember, names can be researched, but it's the first person who used the name that gets credit. So there's no point in re-searching a name already used. And Puzzle Guesses is a first come first served deal. As you can see, Alan Arkin was used twice, and so if it turns out that Alan Arkin is the correct puzzle answer, the first person guessing that name would be the winner. Also, I'm showing my name searches even though I cannot win my own money, hehe. But because I used them as examples, you wouldn't be able to use them as searches yourselves.

Okay, have fun. Keep Playing!
Mike
