I'm not going to apologize for my tell-it-like-it-is style of writing.  Because I know for a fact it makes no difference HOW the info is presented, you people will choose to be offended and play the victim card regardless.

Just to clarify to our other readers, no one in here, Christian or non-christian, is playing any victim card.  The subject in this thread is a lot more intense and deep than playing any petty victim card. Also, no one is choosing to be offended, either (or are you?). Both sides should be heard, you know that.    

But what in the world do you get out of being sarcastic? Does it really do your heart good to take part in a mature discussion with your type of comments? What you are doing is showing others that you apparently don't know how to come back with reasons and ideas to support your belief anymore, nor do you respect any posters who try to answer reasonable to you. I guess you've noticed that no matter what you say, sarcastically, meanly, etc., it is not getting you anywhere with anything, except with like-minded posters who don't really care to debate as much as they like to provoke.

I'm used to your new way, now, but newbies aren't.  Why don't you show some diplomacy with others in here and actually talk sense about atheism/science/religion? You might find that as the Bible says, "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." (Proverbs 15:1)  Proverbs 16:20 says, "He that handleth a matter wisely, shall find good..."  Christian posters (such as myself) would enjoy sparking with you under the umbrella of wisdom, so to speak. I enjoy debating with other non-christians and they act like mature adults with respect for others' beliefs, and vice versa for me.

However, your tell-it-like-it-is to newbies is rude and disgusting, and totally uncalled for when all they did was post that they believed in God.  All anybody has to do is click on your ID and follow your posts.  They can get a good idea what you are all about.

I have NEVER waffled, or been hypocritical on my stand concerning homosexuality.  YOU ARE A LIAR!!! Anybody can go back and read the threads.  You are taking one thread, and trying to deflect away from what is really being addressed here. STAY ON TOPIC  We're talking about your way of spewing garbage to someone who has done NOTHING!!!  You like to post your degrading innuendos about me in other threads.  That's a backbiter pure and simple. You have something to say to me?  Say it to my face!!!

Unfortunately Jcribb, I have no desire to debate with people who blaspheme my God, drag my belief in the mud, call Christians stupid, ignorant, delusional, etc., and then say it's "acceptable" as discussion.

I debate with unbelievers on here and we have good discussions.  I owe one such person on here a post, and also a believer.  Neither one of them treat me like garbage, however the fact that neither one of them see eye to eye and visa versa.  We hold each other in esteem as human beings with respect.  What I'm saying is that there is a right and wrong way to address someone, and it's more prevalent in this part of the forum than anywhere else, to see how far individuals can go to make the other person feel as degraded as possible.

I come out of a meeting with people of genuine love for one another, and don't want to leave. The world is cold and harsh, life can be tough to say the least, why add to someone else's load that they have to carry everyday as it is? I read scripture tonight that says to think on the things lovely, pure, good report, etc., and realize that's almost impossible on this forum with some people. There's enough misery in the world without adding to it.
