Wow. So glad my kids are adults now. When they were little, hubby worked second shift so daycare costs were minimal. I didn't see him much then, but it seemed like the best choice for us. Best part was, he received $.50/hr shift premium for working 2nd shift. We were already getting a "premium" for the reduced day care costs.  ;D

here, I Went to one day care, she quoted to me 3 days a week $195/week. at least 3 days one week or 5 days a week. it will kill me, I do not have a job now and my husband salary is just 1k something. we can't afford that. I do not know what to do,I wanna go to work but if so, all my salary will give to the day care.

It is such a catch. Due to various circumstances at work I've been thinking I need to start looking for another job but then when I start it's like ok I need to make what I make now plus X amount for day care, X amount for gas, X amount for lunches and after you add all those expenses, just day care alone even you're better just staying home! Your whole check would go to daycare.

We were dropping $1900/month for two kids to go to the Montessori day care.  The kids received a first rate education and a love for learning that has put them heads above the rest in their classes even now that they are entering middle school and High school.  I was a little concerned at first when my son missed his first two months due to an earache but the kids needed to have their immune systems boosted at one point or another.
