Does Elway have what it takes off the field?
« on: January 09, 2011, 06:08:35 am »
What do you think about Elway's return to the Broncos? Do you think they have a better chance next year with him being there? He said the other day that "Tim Tebow is a darn good football player, What we have to make him is a darn good quarterback." So hopefully that means they'll start him right away next year cause he did a great job once they finally did. I'm not a donkey fan but Tebow was a great college QB and I hope he can do great in the coming years

Elway has had several ventures since leaving the field...none of which seem to have been chart breakers: Elway car dealerships, MVP Sports, Colorado Crush indoor football.  I think that the Bronco's organization is trying to make up for dismissing Shannahan by bringing in a name that fans can relate to...basically using his name although I think that he will play a minimal role in managing the team.  Bolen needs to pack his bags, stay out of the management of the team, realize the mistake he made with regard to Shannahan (probably the best coach since Lombardi), bring Shannahan back and let him coach.
