I've checked my status box & I've the same but I don't think you are offline if you're able to go on line. I think If  the box is checked next the word offline then you are requesting to be offline. So, just leave the box unchecked. Don't quote me on it, that is just my guess. If you're really worried about it ask the FC staff support.

Before you were able to communicate, leave messages with other members.  Due to the high volume of spamming and I am sure other bad things this was taken away.  So when this was available being able to be seen as online would have benefited others. 

(I am not the Admin or a member of the staff, so don't quote me on this ~ LOL ~ )
