Looking for a legitimate online job, such as data entry.

Hi.   I am new to online surveys and while I feel they might provide a little online income I would much rather do an online job, such as data entry or some typing. Does anyone have some links to something that is LEGITIMATE?   I saw some links here (http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=51753) [darn it! How you hyperlink text on this site? Can somebody help me out with that?], but they led to these sites that offered high, mega income scams.   I want the real deal, even if it means making, say 5 bucks an hour doing data entry.   Something simple that doesn't require previous experience or a heavy duty resume. Due to illness I don't have much work experience, but I can type and have time to work at home. I would really like to supplement my income. I also don't have a degree. Can anyone out there recommend something viable? Please let me know...

I have looked and looked several times. The ones that I have found, most are scams, some even want you to go away for four weeks for training. If I find one that is ligit and you don't have to travel for I will post it. Have you tried looking on Yahoo JObs? Most of those are posted by companies. There are still some scams out there but you have to weed through them.

I haven't tried yahoo jobs. Are you sure they offer online jobs? I thought they only offered jobs that you had to commute to...

You have to weed through some of them but I have seen some online jobs on there. Workfromhome.com is somewhere else you might look. They have a list out, but I don't know how ligit some of them are.

Yeah,I'm like you.I wouldn't even mind a online job that paid $5 an hour.It's just trying to find something legit without having to an arm and leg for.You shouldn't have to pay to get signed up to get work.If anyone knows of anything,please let us know.

I found this site http://www.moneymakingmommy.com and it lists work at home jobs, but I don't think I qualify for them as far the clerical ones. Check it out and see what you think.

If anyone can recommend some data entry or typing jobs that require no experience/will train please let me know. It is impossible to find something when you are just starting out...

You have to be careful about the jobs online.  A lot of them are just scams.  Check them out at Better Business Bureau. My niece got in trouble for doing some online jobs, so be careful.  There are a lot of jobs like this site you can make some good money and a lot of other ones.  You can send me an email and I can give you the links.
