growing up, my parents practically locked down
the house on new years because of the drunk drivers!
i don't even remember being allowed to go to a friend's
house. i look back now and am so thankful for that...

my fiance and i will probably order chinese, pick up a
bottle of wine, and watch the ball drop  ;D its the simple
thangs, ya know...
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

When my kids were young we told them midnight was 10pm and we celebrated and then went to bed. Now they are a little older and know midnight is 12am. So we will all probably hit Friendly's for dinner and then come home, throw some streamers and watch the ball drop. Hopefully if time permits I can sign on to fusion cash and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

I have to work the next day so probably not. The thing about my job is that no one else wanted to do the meeting on the 1st so I'm left with it.

I never party any more on New Years. I will be at home, watching movies. Maybe drink a few beers.

No, I won’t be partying on New Years. I will most likely be helping out at the vegan restaurant. It looks boring and mundane, but the job is well worth it. We'll see. :peace:

I'm not much of a partier, so staying home it is! I might have some bubbly or beer though. :)

Nope. I havent partied in many years. I would like to, but cant think of anything fun to do. Everyone is busy or going to bars. I hate the drunk standing room only crowd at bars on new years. I wish i had some friends willing to get together for a house party! What is everyone else doing?
