That's a great idea - I'll have to check it out!  Just this week I learned I could do a free Kindle download to my Blackberry.  I can't afford one right now but doing it on the Blackberry is a great alternative until I can buy one.  I like that I can read a sample of the first 2 or 3 chapters before deciding if I want to buy it or not!

I had good grades all the way up.  Over a 3.0 in college.  I can honestly say the only books i have ever read have been baseball books.

You can download a lot of the classics free from Kindle too.  Anything written before 1925 I think.

A little treasure I found two years ago on amazon.com - is called A Snowflake in My Pocket.  I've sent a copy of this book to all my cat loving friends.  Small, but powerful.  Also, if you like cats - Homer, the Blind Wonder Cat by Gwen Cooper.  Homer's eyes were removed when he was a tiny kitten due to severe untreatable inflammation and disease.  Several years later, after Gwen adopted him, he saved her life when an intruder broke into her apartment.  Homer even has his own facebook page!
End the suffering!  Get your cats - and all strays and ferals - spayed and neutered!

I'm into funny historical books - my favorites are Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell and Treasury of Royal Scandals by Michael Farquhar. Both are very entertaining.
